We also provide a free artwork preflight check with your order. Our team checks your artwork for common print issues such as bleed and crop marks and will contact you before printing if we spot a problem that could affect the finished result. Whether you need a small number of recycled posters or a larger print run, our team can help you choose the right size and prepare your artwork for professional printing.

1. Available Poster Sizes
A4 – 210 × 297mm - A versatile size for smaller posters, notices, promotions, events and information displays.
A3 – 297 × 420mm - A larger format offering greater visibility, ideal for advertising, events, promotions, exhibitions and displays.
2. What Bleed Size Do I Need to Include?
Please include a 5mm bleed on all sides of your design to allow for slight movement during the cutting process and ensure your finished poster has no unwanted white edges. For example:
A4: 210 × 297mm finished size → 220 × 307mm with 5mm bleed
A3: 297 × 420mm finished size → 307 × 430mm with 5mm bleed
Keep all important text, logos and other essential elements safely inside the finished size, away from the trim edge.
3. Free Artwork Checks
You don’t need to be a printing expert to order from GD Print. We provide free artwork preflight checks before your order goes into production. We’ll check your artwork for common print issues such as missing bleed and crop marks and, where possible, make minor adjustments. If we identify an issue that could affect the finished result, we’ll contact you before printing.
4. Can I Upload or Design in Portrait and Landscape?
Yes, you can. If you upload a portrait or landscape file, we’ll print it in the same orientation as your uploaded artwork. If you’re designing your poster in our Design Studio, you can easily switch between portrait and landscape orientation using the page orientation option in the top bar.
5. 350gsm Recycled Paper
Printed on 350gsm uncoated recycled paper, these posters have a substantial, premium feel while retaining the natural look and feel of an uncoated paper stock. The uncoated surface also provides a more natural appearance than gloss or silk-coated posters, making it a great choice for designs where a clean, understated finish is preferred.
