1. What makes these high quality posters different from your cheap posters?
Our high quality posters are designed for customers who want a more refined printed result. They use enhanced print settings to produce vivid colours, sharper detail, stronger blacks and smoother colour transitions, with premium paper and specialist finishing depending on the size.
For A4 and A3, you can choose substantial 350gsm silk or uncoated paper, with matt lamination available. A2, A1 and A0 posters are printed on 160gsm poster paper and feature our specialist colour-enhancing raised varnish finish.
2. What paper and printing options are available?
The available options depend on your chosen poster size:
* A4 & A3: 350gsm silk or 350gsm uncoated paper, with optional matt lamination.
* A2, A1 & A0: 160gsm poster paper with enhanced print settings and an automatically applied colour-enhancing raised varnish finish.
All posters are printed full colour and single-sided. The silk and uncoated 350gsm options give A4 and A3 posters different visual characteristics. Silk has a smoother, refined surface, while uncoated provides a more natural and tactile appearance.
3. What is the colour-enhancing raised varnish on A2, A1 and A0 posters?
The A2, A1 and A0 versions of our high quality posters feature a specialist colour-enhancing varnish that is selectively applied to areas of your design. It creates a subtle raised effect with a satin to mild-gloss appearance, helping selected colours appear brighter and drawing attention to elements such as logos, graphics and other important details. The varnish is automatically included with A2, A1 and A0 high quality posters.
4. What poster sizes are available?
High quality posters are available in A4, A3, A2, A1 and A0, with both portrait and landscape orientations available.

5. What bleed size do I need to include?
Please include a 5mm bleed on all sides of your artwork. This allows for slight movement during trimming and helps prevent unwanted white edges around your finished poster. For example, an A4 poster has a finished size of 210 × 297mm, so your artwork should be supplied at 220 × 307mm including bleed. Keep important text, logos and other essential elements safely inside the finished size and away from the trim edge. If you’re unsure about your artwork, our free preflight service can check it before production.
6. Can I upload my own artwork or design my poster online?
Yes. You can either upload your own artwork or create your poster using our online Design Studio. Our Design Studio supports both portrait and landscape layouts, and you can switch the page orientation using the orientation option in the top bar. If you upload your own artwork, we’ll print it in the same orientation as your supplied file.
7. Do you check my artwork before printing?
Yes. Every order benefits from our free artwork preflight checks. We’ll check for common print issues such as missing bleed and crop marks and, where possible, make minor adjustments. If we identify an issue that could affect the finished result, we’ll contact you before your poster goes into production.
